A few things...

1. Remember a few weeks ago when I was in my best cousins wedding? Well, the fab Sabrina released the wedding pics to Taylor and they are divine! Here is a sneak peek but if you want to see them all, head over to Taylor's blog and see the rest!

2. The tinfoil. I mentioned it a few days ago and quite a few of you were intrigued. I completely, 100% cover my kids' windows in Costco bought tinfoil. And yes, I already have the black-out blinds, but that isn't enough. The sunlight still shines through the cracks and my kids still get up at the crack of dawn. So I took to my own devices and used up a roll of scotch tape to get the room black as night, 24 hours a day. I can't stress enough how much this has changed my life.

Proof?

Yep, white trash at it's finest. Trailer park decorating. But? My kids sleep 'til 9 am. None of that waking up at 6:30 with the sun nonsense.

3. And....we have a winner!

I don't think I've ever commented on your blog, but I've been following along for a while. I must comment today though - the tin foil thing cracks me up and I think it's a great idea. My friend was having the same problem with the sun thing, and her hubby ended up SPRAY PAINTING the windows black. Works like a charm, but the tin foil prob would've worked just as well!!

In my wedding do over I would potentially do the different shades of blue. It looks really great!

You might think that's white trash, but you're still no Honey Boo Boo family, so don't worry.

I don't have kids yet, but that tin foil is GENIUS!
Taking notes for when I do have kids...

Okay - if it'll keep my kids in bed past 7AM I might have to go all white trash, too!!!

Your tin foil idea has changed my life. White trash or not, well-rested babies and moms mean happy babies and moms. Thank you, thank you!

Vaughns window is tinfoiled too! We just put white contact paper on the window before the tinfoil so at least from the outside it looks decent hahaha.
