Gripes up first today:
* With my four year old getting more and more comprehensive, I have had to modify our driving playlist. When I heard Gunner singing "blow my whistle baby, blow my whistle baby" over and over, I decided Flo Rida from the "ride to school playlist" had to go and replaced it with Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 U." Sounds much better coming out of the mouth of a little kid, IMO.
* Ass dimples. And the fact that they are so cute you could eat them up on a toddler, but so not cute and I never want to eat again on an adult.
* Child-rearing. Sorry to say, but it does not get easier. After the fiftieth time of Gunner yelling from his room at night how much he hates me, and then how much he hates his dad, and then he hates his pillows, his room, his house, my cardigans, his sheets and his stuffed animals, I think he finally fell asleep hating the world.
Gratitude:
* Guess who is ordering the iphone 5 at midnight? I wouldn't normally be so hardcore about it if I wasn't stuck with the iphone 4 after my 4s made it's bed at the bottom of the river. Bigger, better and lighter here I come.
* This boy. He had his pre-school pictures the other day. And seriously?!
The leg cross, the hand clasp...who is this kid? #myheartbreaks
* Hand-me-downs. My dad wore this leather fringe jacket as a two year old. I wore it as a two year old. And now my own two year old? He wears it.
Everything old is new again.
* Speaking of fringe, I just received these fergilicious boots last night...with the fringe, not the fur.
Not kidding, these are "fergilicious" brand. As in Fergie, as in the song.
But remember, with the fringe, not the fur.

* And finally? The weather is getting cooler, and I can't wait 'til the snow pours down. And I can wear my bikini. With my boots with the fur.
Because everyone knows...

Is it wrong that I'm just stoked to finally get the 4s now that the 5 is coming out and bring the price of the 4s down? I had the 4s once..for about a week..then some asshole stole it out of my back pocket while I was breaking it down on the dance floor. So I've been stuck with the SHIT iPhone 3 for a year. And there was no way in hell I was about to fork over $700 for a new iPhone 4.
