So...I woke up this morning and saw this had happened to my car...
Just kidding. That's not my car.
But it's so insanely windy today that I honestly did have to peek out the window and make sure that my car was still upright. The cons to windy weather like this are the obvious: hair is a mess, car doors swing open with enough force to yank them right off, you'll lose a toddler if you let go, but the pros are new toys that I don't have to buy for my kids.
See, it occasionally gets so windy in my neck of the woods that toys and such blow over from the neighbors house across the street. And then we keep them and don't give 'em back.
Today my kids got a new playhouse.

On another note, I'm super excited for tonight.

I know my blog posts have been a little sparse lately, but I promise I have some worth a little bit of substance coming this week. Like a "childrens" book review (see this post for a hint on the subject) and how to be a better blogger. Not that I'm a huge nugget of wisdom on the topic but I may have a thing or two to say. Maybe.

We get wind like that here, but nothing good ever blows in with it, but it does take most of the leaves with it so there's that. A well timed wind storm makes raking a whole lot easier.
