I love me some pampering. So when Stacey sent me some items from Perfectly Posh, I was super excited to try them out. And let me preface it by saying I am very cautious of what I put on my skin. Especially my face. And when I found out that all the products were free of lanolin, soy, gluten, parabens, paraffins and sodium lauryl sulfate (I mean, what even is that?) I was sold. There are so many chemicals and just plain junk that are in our products these days you just can't be sure that you aren't doing damage instead of repair. (Bonus points: all Perfectly Posh products are made in the USA!)
Below are my absolutely favorite items I tried out:
1. The first thing I used was The Stripper Detox Mud Mask (seen on me and the babe above). Um, I LOVE it. I have always loved face masks, and this honestly rivals the ones I got at salons. It was so smooth and creamy, it's loaded with mud and clay and has natural moisturizing agents including aloe and glycerin. It. feels. amazing. I tell no lie when I say my skin was much smoother and looked better over all. It is definitely something I will be using a few times a week.
2. I can't tell you how many body sugar scrubs I have purchased at the drugstore in the past. I am always trying to find the perfect one. Enter SugarFix. Swooooon. The smell. Oh the smell. It lingers far after you get out of the shower. My skin was so soft and sweet smelling afterward, and did I mention the smell? Sweet as candy as they say.
3. After I scrubbed myself down with the SugarFix, I put on Lemon Rice Slather. Ohmahguh. When it comes to my body lotions, I prefer it thick and creamy. And the lemon rice smell? To die for. It's a thick and luxurious body butter and it's so sweet, you may be tempted to eat it. I know my two year old was. (He did. But just a lick.)
4. And then we have the Sugar Lip Scrubs. I am a certified crazy person chapstick/lip balm freak. At any given time, I have about fifty different related items around the house. And this lip scrub? Different than anything I've tried. You put it on and it has little exfoliating sugars that you massage into your lips. It's flat amazing.
And finally, when I uploaded this photo to my instagram:
the comments I got were HILARIOUS. People were saying it scared them to death when they first saw it, and that I reminded them of Michael Meyers. But really, what I was doing was using the Now & Zen luxurious, natural face mask.
Guys. This is amazing. It has gentle exfoliating fruit acids that freshen the complexion and help reduce dark spots over time. Sister here has her some dark spots from lots and lots of tanning time (hangs head in shade) so this is exactly what the doctor ordered. After you put the mask on for about 10-15 minutes, you apply a serum that I swear to the good Lord above have seriously changed my skin. It has made it extremely smooth and supple and my makeup goes on much better and smoother.
All these products are worth it. I'm not just saying this from a sponsored post prospective as I plan on ordering all these products once I run out. My skin has been too amazing to go back to my regular routine.
