Earth Mama on left  ~  World - Care Free on the right

Please forgive my granny feet. It's hereditary, ok?
When Sketchers contacted me to try out a pair of their shoes from their Bobs line, I jumped at the chance. I have always eyed them and thought they were super cute. I'm sure you've heard of them before, but there are a few reasons I love them. One, they are very comfortable. I am extremely lazy when it comes to footwear. My main requirements are they have to be easy to put on, really comfy, and obviously, look cute.

Bobs? Check, check, check. The sparkly ones on the left? I love. I've worn them approx. ten times so far and every time, I've gotten a compliment on them. They are super cute with jeans and leggings, and I can't wait to wear them with casual dresses this summer.

They've also donated over 3,000,000 pairs of new shoes to kids in need, which of course, is the best part. You can check them out here and you can order the sparkly ones here, if you want to be twinsies with me. *wink*

Food. I. love. food. And the above is something I eat every single day, usually twice a day. It's a jalapeno cheddar wrap (not the healthiest, I know, I know) and I layer it with vegetarian beans, green and yellow onions, tomatoes, goat cheese (not pictured, but I throw on a hefty dose) and shake over a little Franks Red Hot. And ohmahgah, so very yummy. I could live on veggies alone (which is good, since I'm seriously banning meat from my diet) and even though it seems very simple, it's one of my favorite things to eat.

I love Portland. I love the whole rainy, gloomy weather that winter brings, and it's near to my heart as I spent one of my most cherished winters living half an hour away, visiting Portland often. I would go on and on however I'll save it for tomorrow when I recap my girls weekend with Breezy.

See you then!

  4. I visited Portland in 2008 and fell in love! There is so much to do both in the city and just a short drive outside it. If ever given the opportunity I'd up and move there in a heartbeat!

  12. I'm not gonna lie...Skechers annoyed me by stealing TOM's ideas and styles, but if you rock them, then I want to be cool like you, and at least they do give to children in need ;)

  14. Why would you brag about being a "day drinker"? With the responsibility of taking care of 2 little kids - one who has already knocked teeth out - maybe while you were "day drinking". Jealous, no. Thinking it's pathetic? Uh, yeah.

  15. Cheers! And props to you for homeschooling! If I homeschooled my kids I'd be a morning drinker as well!

  17. I could have sworn those were TOMS, I love your shoes. Can I shop in your closet?

    ...

Is that as creepy as it sounded?

Also, Raven, I would let you homeschool my kids.
