  13. Ha! Maybe it is time to have "the talk" with gunner about the importance of finding your good angles!! ;). J/k these were pretty cute

  14. uh.oh....raven 2.0? is gunner learning at an early age to take tons of pictures of himself? Lucky for him, he won't have to spend a lot of money taking rolls of film in to be developed like his mom used to do.... ;)

  15. He's got those selfie pics down pat. Even showing off the arm guns and 1 nose hair. Kudos to him!
And thank God he got Rob in the shower. At least you weren't both in there I suppose.

  21. It's good that he's getting in practice for taking selfies! If only we started teaching kids this earlier, we wouldn't all have to suffer through so many in-the-bathroom-mirror shots.

    1. What would you say if I sometimes let BOTH my kids () have a bottle sometimes.........

    2. Actually I would say "whatever works for you". Good answer, Rave! Can I call you Rave?

    3. I LOVE when people call me Rave. Only a few people do it so it makes me feel special ;)

Also, about the bottles...my boys will be FIVE and THREE in a couple weeks...and yes, they both still ask for bottles a couple times a day. And trust me, I KNOW they need to be done with them. I mean, 90% of the day they both drink out of regular cups, and I NEVER let them take the bottles in public (ha!) but for some reason, they ask and it's so cute so I say yes. I just need to throw them all away (along with the paci's!) so they are gone for good!! I mean, almost FIVE and THREE..... yikes ;)

    4. Here's what we did for my son. Sounds corny, but it worked. When he was about 2 1/2, we still couldn't get him off the bottle, especially at night. So, we made a big deal about having to "pack up all the baby bottles", emphasis on "baby" because he kept insisting he was NOT a baby anymore.... We packed them all in a big box and then got one of my husband's co-workers that we called "the bottle man" - to come over and ask for the box of bottles, since we did not have any more babies in our house. Justin helped "hand them over" - and whenever he asked for one we reminded him that the "bottle man" took them. After a few times, he did not ask any more.... :)

    5. Ok I LOVE this idea. For one, my littlest keeps telling us over and over how he is "now a big boy." And I'm pretty sure Gunner only wants a bottle because his little brother has one. I KNOW I need to get rid of them completely and what a great idea to have one of my husbands employees come over and act as "the bottle man." I love it!!!!!! I am so going to do this now! Thanks for the great idea.

ps: this would be a lot easier if I could just email you a reply back ;)

  28. I'd like to think they grow out of that - however, I could write a scary similar post titled when you give my 18-year-old brother a camera. anytime it's left in his possession, I get some of the same types of shots haha
